Bekesbourne with Patrixbourne Parish Council

The Parish Council currently has two vacancies for the role of Parish Councillor and invites applications from members of the community who wish to contribute to local governance and decision-making.

One vacancy has arisen recently, and the formal Notice of Vacancy is available to view under the Councillor Vacancies section of this website. A further vacancy also remains open.

Serving as a Parish Councillor provides an opportunity to represent the interests of residents, participate in shaping local services, and support the continued development of the parish. No prior experience is required; however, a commitment to public service and an interest in local matters are essential.

Annual Parish Meeting – All Residents Welcome

The Annual Parish Meeting will be held in the Village Hall at 7:30pm on Monday 27th April. Everyone in the parish is warmly invited to attend, including residents, local clubs, groups, and community committees.

Please note that this is not a Parish Council meeting, but a meeting of parish electors. It provides an opportunity for the community to come together, hear updates and reports from local clubs, groups, and organisations, and learn more about what is happening across the parish.

We hope to make the evening informal, welcoming, and family-friendly, and refreshments will be available. It’s a great chance to meet others in the community, share information, and celebrate the work of local groups.
